Not all of my students wanted this major. For some, cheating was a way to get through it. When I started teaching, if I caught a student cheating I would have them write a letter entitled, "Why I Cheat". One student in particular became more and more honest with every letter she wrote.
For background vocals, I brought in actual students that don't like English: "The Troublemakers". These girls are wonderful young ladies that have no plans of using English after graduation, but love their Mr. May. They were a great addition to the track and I just want to hear them sing "...but that's alright!" on loop for eternity.
